SAM ERP2 Goes Live: A Project Supporting Industrial Processes

After months of development, analysis, and design activities, in early January TER officially went live with the new SAM ERP2 enterprise management software by Centro Software. The go-live always represents a strategic step in a company’s digital transformation journey and in strengthening the processes that support its industrial organization.

The system now in operation is the result of a structured and collaborative path involving Centro Software’s analysts and TER’s cross-functional working groups, engaging all company departments. This global and integrated approach made it possible not only to carry out an in-depth analysis of existing processes, but also to better define real operational needs and configure the system in full alignment with the company’s organization and production logic.

SAM is an ERP specifically designed for manufacturing companies, with production at the core of the system. Planning, production progress tracking, bills of materials, logistics, and data control are integrated into a single intelligent platform, enabling a consistent and up-to-date view of operational flows. This model helps reduce inefficiencies, improve data reliability, and support more informed decision-making.

The modular and scalable structure of SAM also makes it possible to support TER’s growth over time, while ensuring management continuity and operational robustness—key elements for a manufacturing company operating in international markets like ours.

The activation of SAM ERP2 is the result of shared work and ongoing dialogue among different areas of expertise, - says Fabio Orlandi, CEO of TER. - It is not just a new software system, but a project that strengthens the way we govern our industrial processes, enriching them with the implementation of new Business Intelligence systems, applied AI, and more effective and relevant authorization and decision-making logics.

TER thanks Centro Software for the quality of the partnership and all the internal teams involved.

For those interested in learning more about this journey and the decisions that led to the adoption of SAM ERP2, TER is available to share its experience and discuss the approach taken.

The go-live of SAM ERP2 marks the beginning of a new phase, focused on increasingly structured, informed, integrated, and data-driven management.
